Stakeholders Collaborate on HCV/HCS Assessment in Aceh Timur and Aceh Tamiang
Yayasan Inisiatif Dagang Hijau (IDH), Unilever, Pepsico, Musim Mas, The Consortium of Yayasan Ekosistem Lestari (YEL), Forum Konservasi Leuser (FKL), Proforest, Forest Peoples Programmme (FPP), Yayasan Mitra Kehutanan Lestari (YMKL), and Remark Asia
Musim Mas will contribute to the first indicative High Conservation Value (HCV) / High Carbon Stock Approach (HCSA) landscape assessment in Aceh Timur. Musim Mas supports a consortium of experienced NGOs and technical organizations under Yayasan Ekosistem Lestari (YEL) to partner in an integrated HCV-HCSA Landscape Level Assessment for Aceh Tamiang and Aceh Timur.
The objective of the collaboration is to establish baseline information and cross-sector partnerships necessary for developing sustainable land use and commodity production plans in the districts of Aceh Tamiang and Aceh Timur. It uses an integrated approach of jurisdictional landscape and management unit for HCV-HCS assessment.
As of June 2023, we have completed the jurisdictional-level indicative HCV-HCS Assessment of Aceh Tamiang and Aceh Timur.
